Born in Mazatlan, Mexico, Jorge is an extraordinary guitarist with a wide range of musical influences ranging from Rock, Latin to Jazz, Funk and Blues. He began exploring his musical talents at a very early age. After experimenting with a variety of musical instruments, like drums and trumpet, he soon discovered a passion for the guitar.

Jorge attended the University of Mexico City after receiving an engineering scholarship.  Camberos left his comfortable life in Mexico City and moved to Tijuana to pursuit his real love, Music. There, he "paid his dues" playing in clubs 12 hour shifts 6 nights a week. Jorge played at the same clubs where Carlos Santana and some other great local musicians played and whom Jorge learned from. Later, he moved to Los Angeles, California where he studied with great guitar icons such Howard Roberts, Larry Carlton, Joe Pass, Frank Gambale, Joe Diorio among others. Soon thereafter, Jorge met and worked on many projects with Al Mackey (Earth. Wind, and Fire), Steve Lukather (Toto), Spencer Proffer (Quiet Riot), Jose Quintana (Mana), and many others. Throughout his musical career, Jorge has backed up hundreds of shows all over the USA, Canada, and Mexico opening shows for Los Lobos, Jose Feliciano, Malo , Jorge Santana and many others. Now he lives in beautiful San Diego performing, writing and recording with his latest project TRES. Jorge plays with his Jazz band and free-lances with different local artists.
